The purpose of this program is to introduce and prepare young adults and justice-involved youth for the world of work.

  • It aims to place youth on a path to career opportunities through paid work.
  • The program includes occupational education and training in in-demand industries.
  • The program also features a mentorship component.

The primary focus of ROLSES is to align with the Growth Opportunity Initiative.

  • Target areas recently affected by unrest.
  • Support the education and employment strategies.
  • The Youth Diversion Plan – Provides opportunities for early identification of at-risk youth and for redirecting youth increasing opportunities for early identification of at-risk youth and for redirecting youth.
  • Focus on long-term solutions to community violence and unrest.
  • Integrate support services to overcome barriers to employment.
  • Foster a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.
